SBS YEARBOOKS

You still have the opportunity to purchase last year's 2007-2008 SBS Yearbook. The cost is $23 each. You can pay with cash or with a check (payable to the school), and can pick it up at the front office.

Young Rembrandts After-School Art Program

What a wonderful opportunity this is. If you haven't checked out their website yet, here's the link. 

Last year, we had several children enrolled and they had a fantastic time! It meets for an hour one day a week right after school is out.

Registration will begin right after school starts. Look for the forms in the upcoming Monthly Envelope.

Library Make-Over

Our library has a new look this year. There are a LOT of new books, the layout has changed, it's got a new kid-friendly look, and there's a new computer card catalog system that will make finding books and using our library MUCH easier. Next time you're at school, take a peek!

SBS IS GOING FOR THE GREEN!

St. Bartholomew School is now officially green by recycling. We have collection bins in each classroom, and outside there is a special recycling dumpster. 

What we DO want: paper, newspaper, catalogs, junk mail and magazines.

What we do NOT want: cardboard, phonebooks, papertowels, and kleenex.

If we all do our part, we can help save thousands of trees and collect money for our recycling efforts at the same time. We thank you!!

Farewell

As many of you already know at the end of this school year Mrs. Deet and Mrs. McCafferty will be retiring.  Many thanks to them for their years of dedicated service to our children and our families.  They have truly been blessings to St. Bartholomew School.  We will miss them and wish them well.
